Double storey stitting room with corner sofa and oriental artefacts in a Kentish converted barn

This client required a large seating solution for their double storey barn conversion. The bespoke corner sofa measures 350cm x 250cm and was specifically designed to fit the space.It is upholstered in a soft Teal velvet from Wemyss, with contrast piping in pink to link with the other furnishings and the elegant Persian carpet.

The embroidered floral scatter cushions from GP&J Baker further the oriental flavour.

The smaller sofa and love seat on the mezzanine floor provide a more intimate seating area and the textiles in each space were selected to complement the oriental flavour of the furnishings, yet have the luxurious and contemporary feel that the client required. 

The predominantly pink fabrics on these sofas are from James Hare - Cascada and Corrolla, and these have contrast piping in a darker blue to give definition.
