Delivery charges for online orders the following minimum charging structure will apply:
We use a courier service – (England & Wales - mainland– scroll down for Scotland and islands) budget about £5.99 - your checkout basket will reveal the total cost of your goodies and the delivery charge.
Many items can be sent by courier in England & Wales for £60.00 – scroll down for Scotland and islands. This gets it all to your door or your place of work. Sometimes our customers like us to deliver their items on a pallet – we can do this of course. That way you not only receive your lovely purchases but you get to upgrade your kindling supply! Please bear in mind, though, it will be your pallet!
We use a two person delivery service – prices are product and location dependant. The standard charge is £95.00 for England and Wales – scroll down for Scotland and islands). This may vary according to the location, complexity of the delivery and any assembly required. – we will contact you to confirm delivery details. Our web site will prompt you to call us or e mail us at point of enquiry and we can then advise you as to the safest, most economical and most efficient method of delivering your chosen items to you. Please let us know if you live on the tenth floor – we’ll then ensure we send the right people! If you think you need super specialist delivery services give as call and we’ll work it out for you.
You may collect your items from store, in which case no delivery charges would apply.
For delivery to Scotland, The Isle of Wight or Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or Scottish postcodes please contact our online sales team at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on 01892 510908. Most postal/courier services deliver to, certainly, mainland Scottish post codes for the same price as England and Wales – so please don’t worry!
Please note we do not accept online orders for delivery outside the UK. We do, however, for those of you lucky enough to live beside an azure sea, accept orders by telephone. Please contact us regarding your enquiry at: email@example.com or by telephone on 01892 510908 and we’ll sort it all out for you.
For larger items our delivery team will contact you prior to delivery to arrange a time, day, week, month and all that stuff. Please, please, please check that your furniture will fit! Clear dimensions are on everything we supply. Our delivery team will assess whether they can physically manoeuvre the item and will be happy to place it in the room you require, providing the items pass freely through the spaces provided. It is your responsibility to ensure furniture or larger pieces pass freely through doors, passageways, stairs and awkward corners or turns. We are afraid that we cannot be responsible should you find a piece does not fit through your access ways and we will not be able to refund your delivery charge – please see our returns policy below.
Whilst we hope you will be delighted with your order, we understand that you may want to return some items. Here’s the deal: you have up to 7 days from receipt of your order to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on 01892 510908. We will then arrange to collect your returns.
Please note we will accept returns provided that goods are returned to us unused, in the original packaging and in the condition in which you received them. Our standard delivery charges will apply for this service. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in returns transit. We cannot be responsible for interest charges made by your credit card company whilst waiting for returns to be refunded to your card or similar charges levied by other financial institutions. Furthermore we cannot be held responsible for the costs of contractors, employees or similar persons who have been retained by anyone other than us whose costs are incurred by the return of items or who are employed to ensure the correct/desired placement of items at the delivery address or subsequent locations.
All Settle Retail Ltd items are sold subject to these terms and conditions. We advise you to print and retain a copy for your records. Terms and conditions are governed by English law and both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court.
When you place your order, we will require:
Payment is required in full at the time of purchase in Pounds Sterling and is inclusive of VAT. Your order becomes binding as soon as we have accepted it, subject to your rights of cancellation (see below). Once your order has been despatched, the completion of the contract between Settle Retail Ltd and yourself takes place.
